Two Gypsy in Seattle.

On this fall.( Nov 11th 2007)

We two gypsy were not in China, HongKong, Tornto or Vancouver. We were in Seattle China town.!!!!!!

Please sitdown with us to enjoy these Chinese " DIM SUM and Chinese green tea.Then I will show to you about our Seattle two day trip.

This was our first time to visited this city. It is by the Pacific ocean. 300km from Vancouver south in U.S.A. We went through it when we drove to Vancouver from Ont by 5 years ago. We didn't visit it. Because we were so tire after 6 days of the drive trip. Then when we came to Vancouver to welcome our new born granddaughte Elizabeth Si Yun Law for this time.( Please visit her blog. http://www.themintmansion.blogspot.com/ to know about her). We rental a car for this two day short trip in Seattle.

The weather was not very cold.The Pacific Ocean was behind me. The fishment dock still " sleep" at this early morning.

I had very happy mood to standing by Pacific Ocean. Because I can hear that lovely homeland music is going through the ocean to console my homesick.

Simon was very comfortable to sit at the hotel room .He knew that he will have the Chinese DIM SUM for his lunch at China town very soon.

This market is very famous in Seattle. All things are very expensave. We didn't buy any thing.

This market street is very old.The family stories are full at the street.

Our grandchild are growing up of their home coming

Dear Jada Sea Yuen. This is your first time home coming on this Christmas holiday. Your are 4 months old.Your uncle No3, and Aunts Rebecca, Ka Hay are from Vancouver for family together. But you Uncle No.1 Ka Hung's family is taking the 4 months trip in Artentina. So, We are missing them on your first home coming. We are so happy for this family lunch when you first day be home.


At the Christmas Eve. We are doing the " Giving time". We exchange the gift and our love.

Your father and your uncle No.3 play the ' Power game".

Your Aunt Ka Hay ( Say Gu Jei) and Rebecca. ( sharm Shum ) and Uncle Ka Kei ( sharm Shou) They come from Vancouver. We are enjoy the giving time at the Christmas eve.

We received the family gifts. Thank you very much !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The big gift is that: "THE CHILDREN AND THE GRANDCHILD HOME COMING!"

We invited my violin teacher Armand and his wife Peggy to join our Christmas didner and welcome your first home coming.

Your father would like to play the violin to you for celebrate your first time home coming!

We play the Chinese game " Mah Jou". when you growing up. We will teach you to play this game .


Your Sharm Shou won this game. Then he is so happy to have a lot of money.

I lost this game. Then I used those peices to cover my tears.

we are so happy with you at this sweet home. but you want to find your mommy. You almost start to cry.

Your Yah Yah doesn't know how to play piano. But he is very enjoy the music. He is teaching you the keyboard.He was working very hard to save the money to but this high quality of Yamaha piano for his family.

You done your bath. nice smell!

Your dad and I would like to give you the first of music lesson.Your dad received his Piano performer degree from Royal Concervatory of Musci of University of Toronton when he was 18 years old in high school. He with his brothers and sister received a lot of the awards from the music exam, Festival.......All they are great piano player. The music is our family's subject part of life. You are so intersting to listen our performce.

You are learning how to creep. You have very strong arms and legs.

What are you eating? Are you feeling comfortable at this sweet home?

Grandma and granddaughter. Our age are being separated by 60 years. I am getting old. You are growing up.I would like to try my best to let you to know what is the love, hope, hard work and help people. And enjoy the music, books, art, spots and nature. How to facing the hard time and keep your confidence when you are failure . Always smile and open your arm to received the people. Then. You will have the happiness life. I love you very much . Meet the frineds at the farm in our dad's sweet home town.

Dear grandchildren:
This time is your first time to see the life chickens at the farm .You both are very interesting to look at them. Then you will learn some more knowledges with the chickens from the books, schools, markets, farms and parents, teachers...... may be on the dinner table......
I hope you can understand that learning should with your whole life. you can get the new knowledges from everywhere, everyone. Not only just from the books and the schools. Take your steps to walk out the house to go to the outside world. Always open your eyes, your ears, and your mind.Then you will to be a person of wide and profounding in learning.

Mom: Can you tell me who they are?

Dante Wai Jo says:

" Dear Jada Sea Yuen. Please keep quiet. don't be a lady general to yell: AH! AH! AH! to poin to the them. We should respect them. don't touch them. Only look at them. They are not the toys. They are chickens!"


But Jada Sea Yuen didn't listen to her older brothers. She would like to do her general's job. She used her second finger to poin to the chickens and keep on yelling:"AH! AH! AH!"


Then Dante Wai Jo- This king of Law family went away. Let the lady general to inssue her orders to the chickens.

Oh My dear lady general. You are so tired to standing up to make your orders to the chickens. Then you would like to sit down to take the rest on the grass.

Then you want to find the King Dante Wai Jo together to make the round at this farm and find the another animals to make your orders to them.

Hey, Every one get out here! The world lady general is coming!!!!!!!!!!!

But the King of Law family is taking his second lesson of the chickens at my music students's house inside.He learns that the one of delicious food is the chicken wing!!

He would like to thanks for the chickens. May be he will have the chicken farm when he grows up.

And he wouls like to thank you to Mr.& Mrs Grace & George cunha and their lovely children Peter, Paul, and Hanna. Thank you for your kindness heart and relationship to invite our family to their farm home for this big dinner.

Welcome! My dear granddaughter Jada Sea Yuen!

Dear Jada Sea Yuen.Next month you will be one years old. Today is your second time back to this sweet home.I would like to tell you that when your father Ka Yu ( Our second son) was 26 months old. He with us lived at this home untill he was following his older brother Ka Hung to go to the University of Queen in Kingston. He with his brothers and sister made a lot of funny stories at this home.Their growth enrich our life. We are so lucky to be their parents.


We are so lucky to have you and Dante Wai Jo to be our grandchildren too.

Dear Jada Sea Yuen. Are you feeling comfortable with your mother Janice and father Ka Yu to take the rest at this home's back yard?

I would like to play this song" You and dante are my sunshine" to you.

I and your dad made a movie. It call: [ A 61 years old mother are showing her Chinese Ku Fu to her 33 years old son.].

Your dad very scared my wood sword. He used the snow shovel to fight with me. would you like to tell him that: Please growing up dad!( Or Grandma too?)

And you dad was being defeated with his snow shovel. The he was trying to use this Dante's ball to fight with me again. Will you fight with your dad when you will 33 years old?

Dante's first music lesson at this sweet home.

Dear Dante Wai Jo:
When you were 27 days old. Your parents bring you back home. I was starting the first piano lessong for you. The Bach's music was stoping your baby cry. You were so peaceful to listen the "Prelude" from Bach's heart. Oh, Dear my grandson. I am hoping that you would like to play the piano or some instruments as like you father ,your uncles,and your Aunt.I hope that you will have this family special habit for you whole life.Then you will feel so rich of your life.

Today. You are 17 months old. Then I would like to start your first violin lesson at this home. Someday. you will have my this violin to play any music what you want to play. you can carry this violin to go to the beach, let the music with the soft of spraies to rap the rock strata or the sand.You can carry this violin to the forest, let the music with the birds singing when the sunshine penetrate the thicket. you can carry this violin go back to Argentina when you were 7 months baby .your parents bring you for 4 months travel be there. Then you may play the Tango music for the Argentinian to dance. You can carry this violin to Hong Kong and China to play your grand parents's homeland music with their regards to that magical, vast,beauty and warm from the heart's land. To find your famuly root with your life music.

But you have start to learn the right way to play the violin. Don't follow your father's wrong ways to hold the violin. your father would like to juggle to make the people laugh. He would like to bring the happiness for the people. But when he is learning the new knowledges, he is very insisting on himself.He is a hard worker fro every thing.

The home coming




On 2007 July 20th. Only two sons bring their families back home to visit us from Kingston Ont.( My thrid son's family in Vancouver. They will be the new parents on this Oct. So then couldn't come home by this time. Our family baby Ka Hay still in Zambia Africa.Untill next March will back home.)

This is our eldest son Ka Hung and his wife Melanie and our dear frist grandson Dante Wai Jo.
This 17 months baby boy just woke up after a few hours slept in the car when they drove home.

Dear Dante Wai Jo. When your father was three and half years old.We were moving from Windsor Ont to live at this house.( He was 20 months we were from Hong Kong to stay in Waindsor on 1974 Setp. Then we moved to here on 1976 last day of July.)
Today, you with your parents at this house.Your three people are brighting this house with your nice smile.

The leafs back to the root

The parents as the tree. The homeland as the root. The children and grandchildren as the leafs.Whatever they leave home for so long and live in the place that is so far away from home. They would like to come home to visit their sweet home and parents. As the leafs back to the tree and together stay on the root.

Home is the sweet home for ever.



It's door always open to the children and the granchildren to come in to find their life histories of stories.And add some more colours for the family stories.

On 1979 June. Ka Hay was one month old. Ka Kei was two and half. Ka Yu was 5. Ka Hung was 6 and half.Three brothes were very loving their baby sister.They wanted to take a turn to hold this family princess. They loved each of other to live at this sweet home.

On 1981 summer.Your 4 guys were so happy to play together at the home front yard.

How lovely of brothers and sister.These 4 children are our life. we would like to do any thing for them. They are God's great gift for us.What should we ask for? Yesterday,they were growing up at this sweet home. Today they bring their children to back home
