We had a lot of fun at this evening in Vancouver on 2010 June 16th.
and I took the life lesson from a seller young man.I want to buy $10.00 some honey BBQ breads. I gave $50.00 bill to this Chinese young man. He changed two $5.00 bill to me. I told him that it is not enough of change. He said". You gave $20 bill to me. You see, at my cash register no any $50 bill here." I was very sure that I gave him the $50 bill. And I knew that a lot of this kind hoax are happening in China and the Chinatown. Then I was keeping my positive to tell him again" No. I gave you $50 dollar bill. You have to check your money register again! Then a white lady who was behind me to buy the bread. She said with the loud voice:" Yes. she gave you $ 50 bill.". Then this young trickster gave me $30 dollar back to me. And said :" So sorry. I put the bill under the money register. I didn't see it. Sorry. Sorry." I was so angry. I knew those sellers who work at this stall were from north of China. Then I used the mandarin to talk to them:" Please don't do this hoax in Canada. Don't damage our Chinese's moral character and credit and reputation. Don't sell your moral for $30 dollar!!!!!!!!!!!!" Then he and his partners were looking and me and very surprising that I talk with mandarin. They talked with mandarin to say " sorry Sorry, very sorry. Please forgive."
It was making me to feel so sad for my Chinese compatriots. Yes, right now China is becoming a very rich country. But the education of moral is getting down hill. what shell I do for it?
Any way. Best wish to Chinese. And thank you God's kindness to let us to have this chance to enjoy this night market in Vancouver.

Mrs. Law;
Thank you for sharing your pictures of the market. The food looks so good in the photos, I can almost smell it and taste it! I hope that when I get to Vancouver I will go and experience a market like this. I will learn from your experience and pay attention to the amount of money I give the vendor because I won't be able to correct his moral behaviour in Mandarin! Haha! Have a Great Day!
